CCTV 13 Total Channel Rebranding
A few years ago I was lucky enough to visit Istanbul to work with my friends of Dreambox in the rebranding of CCTV 13. As the major news channel of China Central Television, it's accessible to more than one billion viewers. With this in mind, we based the new design focusing on the concepts around 'network' and 'power'.
We positioned the new headquarters of CCTV, designed by Rem Koolhaas and Ole Scheeren as the core and main motif of the channel's branding.
We underlined that CCTV 13 gathers the news from all over the world with its global network and brings it to China, to it's headquarters, emphasizing its power and placed it on the Earth, in the center of the network.
